My baby is 6 months old (July 4th) I can't believe it! It has been a hard but FANTASTIC 6 months the best and most fullfilling yet in my last 25 years! He is so great and has such a sweet personality her rarely cries unless he tips over while he is sitting or daddy lets him fall off the bed...ooops. He lived so thats a good thing :)

wiggles a lot
eating gerber puffs he loves them
to jabber much much more we love it
splashing in the bath big time and makes a very wet mess!

Things Lukas is disliking.....

Church...he gets bored and then starts making a lot of noise! ANY ADVISE WOULD BE GREAT
His carseat he really hates sitting backwards and just goes to sleep due to his lack of entertainment
Dislikes it when mommy or daddy leaves the room for very long
Dislikes that he can't quiet get to where he wants to be (I am still enjoying this)

He doesn't have many dislikes...he is such a good baby of course we still have hard times and I get frustrated but overall he is very happy and content! We love him so much and I am so happy that my Heavenly Father blessed me (I question why I got so lucky) with such a beautiful baby with such a sweet personality (like his daddy). This has really been a fun age the last 2 months or so he is learning so much! Here is to many years a head and many new things to learn for mommy daddy and baby! We love you puckas (Thanks to Adam this just may stick...we should rethink it prior to kindergarten) ;)!

Happy Fathers Day! We sure love our daddy at the Duerden home. He is so loving and hard working! We couldn't ask for better. I knew he was a great husband but man is he an amazing dad too! We love you daddy!

I would say Jennifer Aniston as Rachel on the TV show "Friends". I absolutely love this show so it would be really cool to see what it would be like to be on the TV show. It is the most hilarious show ever. Rachel is super fun in the show. It would be cool to see what it would be like to live across from two guys that are your best friends and also have a roomate. I never experianced that. I would say that for a day as Jennifer Ainston would be fun as well to be famous for a day see what that would be like. Sorry no pictures. I am mainly doing this for my self :) so read if you wish.

4 months and Lukas Blessing Day

Lukas is 4 months...well he was on May 4th. I am just so far behind I have been working a ton. We took him for his pictures I just can't figure out how to get them on my computer so when I have a second I plan to do that as well. Here are his stats from his doctors appointment.

Hieght: 27.5 inches long 97th %
Wieght: 17.5 lbs 85th %
Head: Not sure on the size but 85th%

To sum it up we have a big old boy! We sure do love him. He is rolling over tons from his belly to his back, laughing our loud when he is tickled. He loves eating rice with bannanas. Splashing in the bath tub, reading books. He is just all around a happy boy! Happy 4 months Lukas.

I really need to post about his blessing as well....It went great Adam did such a good job! It turned out perfectly. The Saturday before the blessing Adam worked so hard to get the yard in order it was beautiful! He is such a great daddy and husband. We sure love him. Thanks for all you do for us Daddy!

This beauties. I only purchased the top pair with the flappy pockets. They are comfy!! I also Pochards these....

I went shopping today. Got a pair of Capris as well an other pair of flip flops and a shirt! Lukas and daddy got some clothes as well. It was a good day. If only I could have found a few shirt....oh well the pant made up for it :) I LOVE SHOPPING.

I am seriously so bad at this I am over critical of everything and everyone including myself. I am probably the worst with my self. I just am so hard on my self striving for perfection and I think other should be perfect as well. In my consious brain I know this is not reasonable but that is why it is a bad habit right.

I also tend to be bossy, swear, in patient, speed, sarcastic, and many more I am starting to look bad here lol. We can all improve right? I think so. Sorry my post are very long and pictureless so if you don't want to read its all good with me I am doing this to evaluate my self so don't feel bad. Hope everyone has a great week.

Day 6: 15 Random Facts About Me

1: I love to shop but never seem to find anything I want to buy??

2: I very badly want to build a house. It's in the plans just taking longer than my impatient self can handle.

3: I enjoy reading. I love love self improvement books. Like bettering you marriage, being a better parent, and so on. I also love romance novel. I love the love hehe

4: I maybe a smidgen on the OCD side. I love everything organized. I catch my self straightening EVERYTHING!

5: I love walks. It's so peaceful to just walk in the sun enjoying gods creations. Can't wait for summer! Summer night walks are the best.

6: Pictures. I love them! Mainly of people. My family is plastered every where in my house! As much as I love pictures I am horrible at scrapbooking.

7: I feel guilty easily even when its not necessary. Example...I wanna start working out but feel bad leaving Lukas since I work till nine two nights a week! :(

8: I over think everything. I am working on changing it's hard work!

9: I love my job but wish I could be a stay at home mom! I never thought I would feel this way but I so badly wish i could stay home with my little guy more!

10: I have been known to have some serious blonde moments. Example "mom how does the sun know it's day light savings time"? I was 15. There have been many since then that's just one of my moms favs.

11: getting gas. I absolutely hate getting it if can get away with it I plan it so Adam ends up getting while I'm with him or if he takes the car! I'd rather clean the toilet than get gas!

12: I love shoes! I like heels but never on me. I always buy them and hardly wear them. I am all about flip flops and comfort which is hard to find cute and comfy!

13: I really enjoy decorating! My entire house is full I need more room so I can buy all the cute stuff I see at the store!

14: I have an irrational fear of being in water where I can't see the bottom. I will get in but I hold my feet close I worry a "shark" or something will get me. Yeah there aren't sharks in lakes hence the irrationalism.

15: I have never lived out side of Utah but I think it would be fun to live out of state but not sure I could actually ever do it! I would pick somewhere warm!!

I have been working on this for like 3 days lol so finally here it is. Sorry if the facts are lame!

FRIENDS

This has been my all time favorite show for may years(I can repeat almost every episode). No matter how hard the day is or what might be going on in my life this show always makes me happy! I know every episode by with out fail I laugh at them everytime. When I was in high school if I had a rough day I would watch this show and eat popcorn! Now that I am married and my hubby got addicted to the show to we literally watch it almost every night before bed. It helps me relax and forget about the day I had. There is my something that always always makes me happy no matter what! :) "MY FRIENDS" lol.

This beautiful women is my mommy! I love her to pieces! she is truly my beat friend. She is always there. I can talk to her about anything in the world and she never judges or thinks less of me. She makes me laugh and want to be a better person. She has always been there when I need her most..a great example to me as a mom. I don't know what i would do with out her. Love my mommy and best friend!!!

Day 3: my typical day

A typical day when I am not at work....
Wake up between 7-8
Feed baby
Straighten the house
Shower around 9
Get baby ready
Baby usually naps i do chores of some kind.
Baby wakes up eats we play maybe run errands or go for a walk
Another nap more chores for mom if they are done watch tv or something. Have lunch in there somewhere
Baby wakes up eats we play have some tummy time watch a movie yeah he loves tv crazy boy it's kinda cute now :)
Then another short nap wake up
Dinner time around 6 or 7
Chill with daddy play and relax
Bath time at 8
Bed at nine

I work also so those days I don't see Luke which is no fun. That is a normal day it changes since Lukas is sleeping better and better each day!

There have been a number of times I ve asked where Duerden came from but no on seems to know lol. Most of them are from and still from Bountiful Utah.

Lukas is going to be 12 weeks on Tuesday! Its going so fast. He is smiling so much. He can grabs on to things every once in awhile it's super cute. He is getting so close to coping us when we stick our tongues out. He loves bath time. We took him swimming for the first time last week!! He is just getting so big and super fun! I love to see him see things for the first time. I love being a mommy!!

Seven Weeks

Happy Valentines Day

4 years ago (techincially yesterday) I got engaged to this very handsom man! I love him so much! He works so hard for our family and sacrafices things for himself to make sure we are taken care of (the dog included)! This hotty made it possible for me to have my other favorite Valentine! I am so lucky to have these two guys in my life! Love my boys.

Having a baby is tough work and Adam has been patient with me while I have my freak outs in the middle of the night and my few random cry days!

We celebrated our day over the weekend. We left Lukas with my mom and headed to the cabin at Bear Lake for a nigth of sleep! We rented some movies (we left ours sitting on the floor at home duh) we went to lunch at Wingers it was great and made a wonderful turkey dinner then slept peacefully through the night. It was a good time! We laughed and talked lots which we haven't done in a while! Thanks for a good weekend babe!

Other Duerden business Lukas is 6 weeks old today! Still no consious smile he smiles but not really at anything inparticular. He is not a fan of "tummy time" he gets fussy then I soothe him and boom he is a sleep! Someday I hope soon he gets to like it more it makes me sad to watch him fuss all over the place. Adam is working hard as usual and I go back to work in like 2 weeks! So sad its a bitter sweet moment! I will miss my little guys SO SO MUCH but I do wanna get out the house more. It would be perfect if I could work part time but life isn't always what we want right :) Well enjoy sorry kinda a boring post. Hopefully I'll have some exciting things to post about!

Lukas

Loves bath time! Mainly he likes when daddy lets him lay fully in the water and move around! So cute
Loves to sleep most of the day and hardly any at night...not as cute lol
Sleeps anytime we are in the truck going anywhere
Eats 4 oz of formula about every 2-3 hours!
Loves to have his hands by his head and will wiggle till he gets them there
Never really sleeps in his crib...some day
Spits up on everything no matter how good you burp him!
Can take up to an hour to eat one bottle
Grunts an awful lot its super cute :)
Loves to suck he constantly loves to have his binki and he chomps on it!

We sure love our little guy! He is getting so big he is technically 5 weeks now and growing so fast. No matter how much sleep we miss we still love the little guy!

As for Adam and I we are just living our lives sleep deprived for now. I am really not excited to go back to work and never sleep should be fun I think I will reguire much diet coke! I have definitly become addicted to that stuff since January 4th lol. I go back Feb. 28th I will miss seeing my little guy all the time but will be nice to get out a little more into the world. Adams been working here and there trying to help me out while he is slow. Other than that life is good we spend lots of time at home watching 24 or as we call it Boure Hour :) enjoy your February and have a great Valentines Day!

It started out like any night...I couldn't sleep had to pee all the time and so on. At about 3:00 am I started feeling crampy but nothing to intense so I ignored it until...I noticed something odd in toliet and assumed it was my mucus plug so I just tried to sleep..yeah that didn't work out so well. I kept loosing it and about 6:00 am I decided to text my mom and ask her about it. She said it sounded an awful lot like my plug and that normally labor starts with in 1-24 hours of loosing it. I had a doctors appointment scheduled at 9:00 am that morning so I thought I will just wait and see what the doctor has to say instead of going straight to the doctor my mom agreed and said to just take my bag just incase we didn't come back home. All this time Adam is still asleep :). After talking with my mom I decided to shower so I looked pretty if I was to have to go up to the hospital. Adam woke up to the shower and asked what I was doing and I told him what was up. He got up and got ready. We headed up to the doctor we left a little early I was hungry so we got Mcdonalds :). This is when it gets interesting....we get to the doctors office early and I headed back to leave a sample as usual...Dr. Wood was back there she said "hey you waited for me" (she wasn't on call over the weekend) I then said "yeah but I am not sure how much longer I will be waiting" I leave my sample and head back to the waiting room to wait. Dr. Wood then calls me back (wierd she never calls patients back) so we go back to the room she tells me to change. Adam left his Dr. Pepper in the waiting room so he went to get it while I changed. I get my pants off and leaked something that I had no control over it was totally wierd I thought hmm maybe it was the rest of the pluge or something I sit on the table with the wonderful white sheet and feel like I peed my pants...Dr. walks in and gets ready to check me asks me whats been going on I tell her...she then walks over and says hey the sheets wet did your water break...me um maybe I am not sure! She lifts up the sheet to check things out and says oh yeah your water broke! She checks me I am at about a 2 and as she is checking me my water breaks even more! So of course we head up to the hospital call our parents. I got my epidural after being at the hospital for like an hour! I did not like the epidural it felt wierd but it was nice (for awhile I will explain)...our parents show up life is good I dialate a centimeter and hour. I get to a 7 then I stopped dialating for like 2 hours then started again...however the epidural is starting to hurt my shoulders VERY VERY badly. Dr. Silver the best anastheisolgist in the world suggests we try replacing the epidural since the contractions are getting a head of the epidural from turning it off and on to help with the shoulder pain. Oh we decided to do this after I had taken a flexeril which took 5 people dr.'s pharmacist and anathesiologist to decide if that was okay...we replace the epidural it doesn't help..I dialate to a 10 100% effaced and its time to push. At this point it is like 3-4 am on January 4th! I start to push and push for the next lik 3 - 4 hours (I can't remember its kinda a blur) during all the pushing the epidural is still causing me pain dr. decides I am volume sensitive and takes me off the pump meaning he comes in every hour to give me medication directly! Like I said best guy ever. After all the pushing Lukas is face up and the wrong part of his head is trying to come out. Dr. Wood explains to my parents, mother in law and Adam that we can try suction they ask the risks no one likes the sounds of that so they say no to that. Dr. Wood comes in to have me push one more time to see if his head had changed position nope nothing so she says I think we need to do a c-section...I try to be brave she leaves I loose it! At this point I had had two blessings already! One just before the shoulder pain and one just before the 2nd epidural. I cry and Adam comforts me he has to leave to get dressed to go in the OR my dad comes and holds my hand I cry more! We get in the OR after some serious medication is given to me which made my butt feel wierd! We are in the OR they get him out all is well Adam shows him to me I am basically out of it and so tired its not even funny! Adam leaves to bathe him I start telling Dr. Wood something is bothering me I can't even remember now what I was saying then a nice man with a syringe injects me with something and I wake up in recovery 28 hours of labor 3 hours of pushing and a c-section later! It was definitly and experiance and I am kind of sad that I was so out of it during the actual time he arrived I feel like I missed a special moment but I was so glad he was out. Neither of us were in any danger the entire time which I feel very blessed about and for next time we will know I am volume sensitive and will be having a planned c-section. Hopefully I didn't leave any details out :)

My baby is 3 weeks old that is :)! He eats really well...sleeping not so well at night at least :) silly boy. We love him so much! He is defi nitly more awake these days he gets pretty fussy but we are dealing. Its definitly hard work being a mom and I have had my fair share of tears the last few weeks. I also really HATE BREAST FEEDING. I don't actually breast feed I just pump but holy crap I DISPISE it so much. I am trying to have a postive attitude but its drifting!!!!! So far things are good here at our house we mostly watch tv alot and try to sleep :) Here are a few pictures from the last few weeks!!! We love you so much Luke happy 3 weeks of life!

Hardest week ever....

Well we brought our wonderful bundle of joy Lukas James Duerden a little over a week ago! The first two nights we had my wonderful mommy stay with us. It was great she is my best friend and the best mom in the world! She called me when she got home and thanked me for a wonderful week and it was a great experiance and she started to cry and so did I an then the entire rest of the day I was a wreck!! She is just great and I really missed her this week. I know Adam and I have to do this alone but I do love my mom so much! Anyways Adams mom my wonderful mother in law was scheduled to stay with us the next two nights well she got sick so she ended up going home and we have been all ALONE since. I was scared to death to be alone and that just happened to be the same day my mom left so you can imagine my random tears and a very confused hubby. Since we have been alone we have done okay we are very tired and Luke is getting fussier which is making it harder! So again breakdown today AGAIN its rediculous my emotions I want to cry everytime he does. He is a great baby and I love him MORE than I can even say but this mom thing is hard work! I new it would be and I am just glad the reward is so worth it! I just hope my emotions calm down some lol...and I know this will get easier it will only take time right???

39 weeks...

I am 39 weeks today! I wish I was no weeks :) and had my baby here. I must say that these last like 3 weeks are HORRIBLE! I would almost rather go back to the barfing stage. I can't wait to meet my son and it just can't come fast enough. I know everyone says to enjoy it while it last but I am definitly over sharing my body with him he is a little shelfish when it comes to space :).

Well last weeks doctors appointment I was only effaced 50%. No dialation or anything...tomorrow I have an appointment so I am crossing my fingers there is some change. I have been having some back pain and contractions so we will see.

We are all ready for him to arrive...room done...docorated...car seat all put together and ready to just put in the car. My bag is packed...house is clean...Christmas is down and all is back to normal so he can come at anytime.

I am still working it is getting hard and I get tired really easy. I love the other girl that I work with she let me schedule 9-5 Tuesday - Friday this week she is so GREAT! I plan to work if I go over as well so I am really hoping that I don't go over :(. The doctor has given me an induction date if I do go over I will go into the hospital Sunday January 16th and get some medication to soften my cervix then Monday morning she will come up and start me. I am praying that I just will go by myself I would much rather do it that way.

Well there is my update not much else going on everyone is just waiting on me like a time bomb. Lol

Yesterday at work Alycia so kindly pointed out that I only have 30 DAYS left until my little boy arrives! That got me thinking....I wondered what life would be like not pregnant? Will I ever be my old self again? Can I be a mom? Will I be good at it or totally screw it up? Can I handle birth and the pure exasution that is to come with having a new baby? (cause I am already exasuted) Well I guess in 30 days I will find out....HOW SCARY! It hasn't really seemed real to me that he is actually coming and lately I just wake up and think HOLY FREAKIN' CRAP he has to come out of me and he is going to sooner than later and then I have to take care of him FOREVER! At least I have my best friend to do it with me thats all I can say. I am so excited to see what he looks like and his little personality I love him already! As long as I have a little faith Heavenly Father will make sure I don't completely mess up his child! We are in for a real life changing experiance I a excited and completely terrified all at the same time! Who knew you could feel all that at once.

Other happenings...we have had Christmas party's and have three more to go...I love the holidays and I can't wait for Christmas its just around the corner time flies these days. Not much else is happening at our house Adam has finally slowed down and its nice to have him around a little more! Oaklie is as cute as ever she just loves to be by us which maybe come a problem here in a few weeks but I think she will love our new family member possibly to much! I can't wait for our lives to change enjoy the Christmas Holiday and I will try to post some pictures of our fun over the next few weeks.

Thanksgiving

I hope all had a great Thanksgiving! Adam and I went to my in laws this year it was fun. I helped my mother in law get already while Adam hung some Christmas lights down the street. It is SO much work to get all that food ready for about 20 minutes of eating it...sad but it was fun and nice to spend some time with my mother in law just us. All in all it was a great day and my feet were totally swollen at the end of it! In the spirt of Thanksgiving I'm going to take a few minutes and list a few things I am thankful for.

*My husband 1st of all! He works so hard and provides for our family and does the best he can at everything. He makes me laugh (sometimes at my self) but I love when he just smiles at me I bust out laughing cause I can be a tard! He is my best friend and I love him more than anything. I am thankful to be a parent with him soon. I wouldn't want to do it with anyone else!

* My baby Lukas that is coming soon. I am so thankful that Heavenly Father has entrusted me and Adam to raise and take care of one of his children (super big responisbility its a little scary but...) I couldn't be more excited and thankful for the opportunity to be his mother!

* My wonderful parents! I don't know what Adam and I would do with out our great parents. I am so blessed to have wonderful in laws! I am also pretty sure I have the best parents in the entire world I love them so much.

* My brothers and sisters I am so thankful to have such a fun family that gets a long and is pretty close considering there is 5 of us and we are all in a lot different stages.

* My super super adorable puppy! I know I am sure that most people would never have expected me to say that but I love that little terd! She is always so sweet and loving I am thankful that I could have had the worst day ever and she is always there waiting at the door for you to love you! She just makes you smile even when its hard! She is "mans or wo-mans best friend" unconditional love for sure.

* My job! I am so thankful that in this economy I have such a great job! Some days I wish I could just stay home and not work all these long 12 hours shifts but I am so greatful to have a job that pays well great benefits and such great people to pass the time if its slow!

* My house silly but we have the best rent ever we rent from Adams Grandma and it has given us an opportunity to have things that we may not have been able to and for Adam to start a business that he may not otherwise be able to do with a more expensive rent! And our house is super cute and not an appartment not neighboors we certainly enjoy that peace.

* I am thankful for many other things as well but those are just a few that come to mind at this time. I hope all enjoyed the Thanksgiving holiday! Christmas is on the way busy busy.

BABY UPDATE:

Well while I am here baby is head down as of now (hopefully he won't move its doubtful but...) I am 33 going on 34 weeks Sunday. Dr. said all is looking perfect! I can't wait for them to start checking me its getting so close and I am getting anxious and nervous! I feel fair lots of heart burn that I have adapted to by this point I am not sure what life is like with out it anymore. Bad right leg hip pain but other than those small things I am doing great!!! Definitly ready for him to be out but we can wait a few more weeks :) then I will start praying hard. Well thats all for now I will keep ya'll updated sorry no pictures...I'm horrible

Wow I only have 7 weeks and 5 days left tell my cute little boy comes into the world. I have mixed feelings about this really....I am super excited to have him out of me! Not a total fan of being pregnant. However I am scared of the process to get him out...I can't wait to see what he looks like and love him so much. I already love him lots but I can't wait for his personality to come out and stuff and for it to be more real for Adam. Hoping the 7 weeks goes fast but slow at the same time I want to enjoy my holidays but I am getting more miserable as the days go bye lol! Well thats my baby update not a long one but not much is going on but a big mess in his room I need to get all organized lol. I will post pictures when its done.

Duerden Happenings...

Its been a while since I updated and we have had some things going on so I decided to post about them. There are only a few pictures so I apologize.

First things first the baby is doing great! Went to the doctor today everything sounded good and he was moving like crazy when she checked his heart beat. I scheduled all the rest of my appointments till the end crazy! That was exciting and a bit of a pain in the but with all the holidays and my work schedule but we go it figured out. So I have 6 more doctor appointments....9 weeks and 2 days left....41 work days......4 weekends to work.....and 3 very busy holidays! I am hoping it goes fast (kinda) I like the holidays so its kind of bitter sweet.

I am having all my showers this month I couldn't be more exctied! Can't wait to see what I get for my little guy! I am all organized up to this point so I can't wait to get everything all put together. I have my application all filled out for my leave I just need to get it filled out by the doctor and faxed in so wierd to think I will be off for like 8 WEEKS! I am sure it won't even phase me once its here.

Our Halloween was good we carved pumpkins with friends (pictures below). Saturday we went to Adams moms house to hang out for a bit and have dinner. Sunday we had dinner at my Aunt Debbies house and saw my uncles amazing pumpkin carving skills! Overall it was a good weekend.

Today we had our toliet break which was no fun...we got it all fixed up though thank goodness! Other than that we are just enjoying eachother the best we can, working and spending time with family.

So I just noticed I am in double digits! YIPPY! Pregnancy is going okay....I had to go to the doctor two weeks or so for my heart rate and the fact that my blood pressure jumped up but all was well and nothing was wrong all the test came back negative which made me feel TOTALLY lame because I felt like one of those people over reacting like I always see at work. I was really happy everything was okay the baby was totally fine and the doctor told me to check my heart rate and blood pressure every day so I have been doing that most days....and it constantly changes but slowly seems to be getting a little better. I just feel really dizzy and hot when my heart rate jumps up not sure if they are really related but....as long as little Lukas is okay I can deal.

We have the babies bed all put together. One night last week while I was at work Adam put the bed stuff all together and put the baby stuff in the closet set up the pack and play in the dinning room! It was very sweet I was glad I didn't have to do it all. I will have to organize once we get more and we get a little closer but for now very very much appriciated! He is the best to put up with me all this time I am a nut!

I had my first breakdown a few nights ago I started crying and who knows why lately I just feel crazy and out of control. Some days are worse than other. I feel like I am having some kind of outer body experiance sometimes :) good times I find being pregnant. Its worth it so I hear.

Adam's last weekend away will most likely be this one I hope! I am keeping my fingers crossed. I think I am staying home this time the drives are getting hard for me especially when I am driving. So my plan is to decorate for fall and give the puppy so much needed attention.

Not much else has been going on at our house (since we pretty much are never there until this week) I am way excited for September to be over and Adam to be home at nights when I am off! I have missed just relaxing at home who new...and I must say I am tired of eating OUT! We had a home made meal tonight it was good felt nice. Is getting a dresser....we weren't going to get one due to price but my Grandma has an old one that my daddy built like 20 years ago that we are going to paint black!!! So excited to have a hand made one from my daddy!

My love hate relationship with SEPTEMBER

You might wonder why I could possibly have this relationship....well here I go...

Love fall its so pretty hate that too because it means winter is coming

Love that my due date is getting closer hate that winter is coming

Love that I get to go to Bear Lake and boat a little here and there hate that my hubby is always gone

Love the fall leaves hate seeing them as I drive through Logan Canyon every weekend gets old

Love the nice weather hate I am still hot even though the weather is so perfect

Love that my hubby makes really great money this month and for all the blessings we get because of September hate that I live in two different places.

Love that my in laws let us stay at the cabin hate that we have too!!! (I like my own bed with my body pillow these days especially)

Love the lack of reality Septmember brings hate it as well...

I could keep going but I will stop just needed to vent a little. I got up this morning at 6 am and left Bear Lake to get to work by 9 am and I now will be working till 9 pm so glad I have tomorrow off! I am really grateful for the opportunity Adam has but it totally blow at the same time. :) Baby is doing great due date is still the same and I am starting to get nervous because at the end of this week I will be in month SEVEN that went fast! :) Until next time....

This maybe a long post with no pictures so no obligation to read...

I am nearing the end of week 22! Maybe 23 :) I am really hoping the doctor changes my due date! When I went to my 20 week ultrasound they told me he was measuring more to the size of my last menstral cycle. I will find out for sure Friday the 17th. So keep your fingers crossed for me.

I am finally feeling better just tired a lot now because I never sleep good. I also thought it was a total myth that being pregnant can make you forgetful yeah I agree it can now! I feel like a total idiot 90% of the time. I have to make so many list to remember things. Adam will tell me something and I will forget within about 15 minutes! I am so not use to that happening to me I am one who hates being forgetful so its been interesting.

My belly is getting bigger by the second I swear!

I am feeling him move so much these last few days I love it unless I have to pee then I think he thinks its a game to torture me :). Adam still hasn't felt him move yet soon I hope.

I want to register so bad and get planning since I love to plan ahead. We are planning to register Monday I am excited.

We have his bedroom cleared out and the crib up and the closet are organized just waiting for more stuff to add to it I love it.

I am really getting excited to meet him but terrified of what I must do to make that happen!!!!!

Adam has been so great letting me take up so much room in the bed for my rediculous amount of pillows.

We are both really excited things are getting closer nervous all at the same time though. As of late we have been working hard Adam started having to go out of town so the sucky month of September has begun but I can deal its good money. I don't have to work a weekend this entire month and that makes me estatic! We took Oaklie to be boarded for the first time and she loved it! She was tired for like the entire day after we got home. They gave her a report card that said who she made friends with her favorite toy and activty with a picture of her on it! It was so cute best place ever The Utah Dog Park in Bountiful. We went to Snowbird, Vacationed with my family, and Trout and Berry Days. I didn't have my camera at any of them so I apologize not pictures but we had a great time livin' it up before September rolled around. Thanks for stopping by!

I must say this baby shopping thing is a bit overwhelming. I don't know what is good bad or otherwise and everything is so pricey I feel bad registering for all of it. We have a crib, we needed a dresser that was a task and a half so we gave up and I came up with using white bins in his closet instead of a dresser since it was impossible to find one we liked that wasn't 600 dollars maybe we are or I am just to picky but I like my idea better and it was only 30 dollars! BONUS. So next we are looking for rocking chair we find one we love $800 dollars goodness so we gave up there to and our getting one that Adam's Greatgrandma had (the one that lived in our house) freaky its coming back there. :) so we are all worked out on furniture. Next we go looking for car seats and these are the two we love. The review were good the guy at babies r us said it was the best one. Anyone have an opinion? All you well knowing mother out there let me know what you think....I need HELP I am not smart when it comes to this stuff.

This is Adam's favorite one and it thought it was pretty cute and generic for a boy or girl and the tan would be easier to clean than the one below which is gray.

This one we both liked but Adam didn't LOVE it as much as the other. We are planning on registering for both (man at the stores suggestion) If anyone has any advice please give. Advise on other baby gear is appriciated as well :) thanks all my blogger friends!

Its a boy! Adam is such a sweetheart it was my birthday on the 1st so on the 3rd he decided to take me to the Fetal Foto's it was AWESOME! I was so excited to see the little guy again in human person sorta...the 3D and 4D was so cool. So here are a few pictures I finally have on a CD so I can post them.

Well life has been busy her at the Duerden casa! To start off Adam quit his second job! YIPPY! I am not a fan of him work till midnight all the time and being grumpy. So its back to business full time which is working out great right now and he left with the ability to return to his other job every once in a while when he can so that is a plus. Here is a list of the fun things we have been doing or will be doing in the next week.....

Baby update: I had started to feel better that has thus passed I now have heartburn so bad I throw up sometimes. I threw up some blood the other day so they said to watch that and keep an eye on the heartburn. I am not changing to the last resort for medication to help with the heartbun so we will see how that goes. I will be 16 weeks this Sunday! We find out what were are having the 23rd of August and I can't wait. I want to start buying stuff. We have a few things that our moms and grandmas have given us and the best thing of all a FREE crib! Thats right brand stinkin new and it was FREE I will post pictures whe the room get further along. Thats all that is really going on with us right now. Just spending as much time together and on the boat as we can!

We are having a baby

Some may already know this but we are having a baby! Due January 9th 2011. I am 14 weeks (well at the end of 14). Adam didn't really want it posted all over the world so I respected that...however I asked him last night if I could just please post it and he said I don't care :) so that is what I am doing. I apologize because I have NO CLUE how to scan my ultrasound pictures so sorry no pictures of baby. Everything is looking great. I am finally slowly getting out of the sickness stage and not so dang tired. The heartbeat has been around the 160's the last 2 appointments. I have heard a wives tale that this means it could be a girl who really knows but that would be awesome! We are both fine with whatever Heavenly Father wants to give us. Again sorry no pictures I will try to get some on here.

4th of July, Out door movie (3 nights)

So we had a great 4th we were unable to go to Bear Lake again seems to happen every year! We are hoping next year we can go. Anyways so we decided to make our own fun. Saturday I worked so we didn't do much we went to dinner at Chili's then came home and set up what was about to go from big to bigger over the next three days...Last year Adam had this great idea to set up a white trailer and a projector and have an outdoor movie. Our nieghboors loved it so we decided to do it again. We set it all up and watched a movie Saturday night just the two of us feature this night was GI Joe. The next day Adam goes to work and has anther idea instead of using the car hauler trailer we should use a 53 foot trailer from his work! (That is a semi trailer) so we set this up Sunday night and have a movie with my brother and sister in law tonights showing was National Treasure 2. It was way awesome but the big night where we had invited a few people was Monday so Adam gets off work and with another great idea we end up with a seven speaker surround sound and the trailer in our yard! Haha it was so so awesome it was like a drive in!!! I am sure we looked so redneck but I had a blast all three nights thanks to my hubby who is all about GO BIG OR GO HOME....(on some things :))Needless to say we had a great weekend thanks to our friends who shared it with us. So last week Adams parent came and did our entire yard! Adam has been work and doing business stuff till about 11 most nights and has no time for yard work.. I try to help out but I have been sick and barfing and dizzy and stuff so we just let it go and they new that we were busy so they came and mowed, edged and everything one day while we were at work! Birthday Boy....

Today 27 years ago my fabLous mother in law gave birth to this great guy that I married 3 years ago and now he is 27! I couldn't ask for a better husband I hope he has the best day ever...yesterday we played hooky from church and celebrated my graduation and his birthday by going to Park City. I don't have pictures of graduation yet but when I do ill post them. So Sunday morning we started our day out with Little America brunch which was so so good then we headed up there and shopped! My sweet hubby got like 4 pairs of shorts haha silly boy. It was so fun we ate to much food and shopped tonz! To finish off our day we headed to baha cantiina! Love that place! Then we headed home and stopped by our wonderful neighboors who let our doggy play outside their house. We brought them back flatas YUM! It was really a great day it was nice weather and I enjoyed spending most of the day with my favorite person. Pictures to come :) HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABE! Off to eat left over food from Baha! :)

22 days until April 23rd 2010! You may ask yourself what is so great about this day well first of all I am pretty sure it is my favorite aunts birthday so yeah for her but it is a day that I have been waiting for, for what seems like FOREVER! A day I thought was unreachable because I never thought I was smart enough to get this far, I only wished for this and now it's true. It doesn't seem real after SIX long years of homework, 2 rejection letters, long hours of free labor and stressful tests that affected the rest of my life and last but certainly not least all the MONEY spent just to get where I am today (well April 23rd) so this day I'd say is pretty spectacular! What day is it well it's only college GRADUATION people!

Its over...it has not set in for me yet which is wierd because as of now I have no more homework! Seriously it is such a wierd feeling knowing that in a few days I will have a bachelors degree. It was probably one of the hardest things I have done as of now. There were many a tears, retaking classes to pass or get a better grade just to get into the radiology program, times I wasn't sure it was worth the set back when it came to affording a home or having children. I am so glad I stuck it out it is one of my greatest accomplishments and I absolutly love my job! I get to help people everyday and do something I love and that I am actually good at! That is the most rewarding feeling ever + I make good money but even if I didn't still it is the best job for me and I thank my Heavenly Father for the opportunity to have such a wonderful carrer, wierd to say it but its true I have begun my carrer and I couldn't be happier.

Many have asked what I am going to do with my time know that I have no HOMEWORK. Well here is a list, I am going to read lots of book I wanna read romantic or educational my choice, lay out in my hamick, start a family, spend lots of time with my puppy, work (duh), and hopefully enjoy bear lake a lot more this summer, not like the last two where I had clinicals and then two jobs. If anyone is trying to decide whether or not school is worth it let me just tell you that I would do it all again! It was worth every penny to have a carrer that I love!

Haha so okay I tried doing this on an Iphone not happening! It was way to hard so here goes ten truths about me thanks for tagging me Laura my blog was looking boring :) so enjoy!

1. I have low self esteem yes I know most people have this but I am just starting to be able to admit it. My main thing is knowing that my hubby loves me (note he never does anything to hurt me its all me) I just never think I am worth liking or if I mess up once that our friendship is over or that Adam wont love me so on and so forth.

2. I NEVER wanted to have a dog in the house but I can't imagine it any other way I love her so much! And I never thought I would. She is the best dog ever she just loves us so much.

3. I have a tendancy to share too much about my life :) (sorry all that may have experianced that) I just really enjoy talking so things come out uncontrollably.

4. I really hate gossip but I get involved in it easily. Grrr I hate it :)

5. I am a little OCD and must have everything straight before I go to bed drive my husband crazy.

6. I can not sleep with out ear plugs and its the quiet noises that just drive me up the wall like my hubby breathing haha :)

7. I am so excited to be GRADUATING April 23rd it is the best feeling ever I really hate school and it has been the hardest thing ever for me!

8. I have an addiction to Diet Coke hmmm its so so good.

9. I gag at the smell of brownies I know I know I am not American I have been told :)

10. I have this horriblee need to please my family all the time(this one is from Adam) I find nothing wrong with this :) however it may have to do with my number one :)

So we went to Bear Lake for New Years. It was pretty uneventful we just sat around and ate it was great! Oaklie enjoyed to weather (she was the only one). So here are a few pictures of her playing in the snow. I was really sick of logging in and seeing the same thing but not much is going on right now. I am just trying to finish my class so I can be done with school early. I will be graduating in May so so EXCITED! Adam is looking forward to warm weather and thats about all we have been up to these days. Okay so this is no anouncement by any means, but Adam and I had the serious baby talk today. We went through to see how much it would cost and all that jazz. So I am going to have to work no option on that one. I just wondered if anyone had any great advice on how to decide if we are ready money wise and anything to think about when looking at all the information and desicions to have a baby since its a big one an all. I am really wanting to start trying in April but we don't own a house we live in one but we rent it. So all you awesome moms out there in my blog world let me know any advice since you have all recently done it. :) might be better or more accurate info than my sweet mom can give.

So yesterday (Monday) I had to bail on my visiting teaching girls I felt bad so I made them a gift for Thanksgiving I thought it was a great idea (from Alycia!). I take the credit for putting it together hehe. All it is a blessing jar, I put two little post it pads in the glass jars and tied a ribbion on it, and also stuck a paper in it that said to remember our blessings and stuff like that. So we are going to all these fun places tomorrow! So excited I have never been to any of them I know lame but what can I say I'm from Paradise...:) So mesiqute sounds lame but we are just sleeping there so we are closer to Vegas for Sunday morning since I have never been there we wanted a little more time. Then off to Disneyland Monday nightish till Saturday..I think we are going to hit up Universal Studio's and that kind of stuff too. Next Sunday we will hit up Sea World (Most excited about this)...then home on the airplane. Oh I forgot to mention we are motor homing to California with Adam's parents and meeting up with his bro and sis in-law at Disneyland it will be lost of fun! I got tired of looking at my same post everytime I log in. I decided to write about school. I will be graduating with my Bachelors in Adv. Radiologic Sciences spring 2010! So next semester YIPPY! I have 15 credits left! Also I have completed all my courses (minus a paper) so awesome! I am so excited to be done. I hate college, I know that is bad but, I am so sick of it, I have been going since 2004 that is forever and way to long. So I am mainly just tired of looking at this post everytime I login! Adam and I had a very eventful weekend. First Friday we went to Snowbird stayed till Saturday then came home for like an hour unpacked and packed again for Bear Lake. We got home Monday from the lake and ran to Salt Lake to get Adam a buffer for his work. Then Adam turned around and went back to Bear Lake Monday night at about five and I went to work! It was madeness. I have a few pictures but he has the camera at the lake so I can't post them. It was a fun weekend on Sunday while Adam was working I watched six movies all the while I did my homework :)! It was pretty relaxing! I can't wait for September to be over so my hubby can just stay home! He will be coming home Wednesday or tonight hopefully I am crossing my fingers and then leavnig again Friday! Geeez la Weez busy man! Well that is what is up with us lately!

So I have this most retarded class ever! Every student at the University is required to take these two classes Research Methods and Bachelorsthesis, well I need a good research topic and I am stuck! I would be nice if it was related to health care in some aspect even better if it was x-ray but I don't want to involve humans in the research because then I have to write another paper or something and I so don't want to do that! So this past Thursday to Friday Adam and I went camping at Pineview. It was our first camping trip ever just with us. It was Oaklie's first time as well. So we don't own sleeping bags so we packed up all the blankets we could find and they for sure were not warm enough. I was so cold that my body hurt the next day from shivering. Also we thought well Oaklie can sleep in the tent we are camping what would it hurt big mistake! She made the worst hair mess EVER! It took forever to clean it up. We had fun though until it was time to sleep haha. We played phase 10 and ate lots of food. We also made a trip up to see the Monks and let me tell ya that was weird! Adam asked the guy how much something was and he didn't say a word, I about busted up laughing I held my cool till we got outside haha. It was a fun little get away. We were right on the beach at Pineview it was so so pretty!

Also this weekend we headed up to Paradise for drama as usual (I love it there). We had a family reunion on Sunday and Trout and Berry Days Saturday! I didn't take any pcitures not much to take but we had so much fun. My brother had me laughing at myself like four times that I was bawling! It was hillarious! My family is pretty fun I forget sometimes :). Anyways that's what we have been up to here are a few pictures of camping. Enjoy

Raseberry Days (Birthday)

This past weekend we went to Raseberry Days in Bear Lake it was so much fun. I have never been so Adam took me for my Birthday. I had Friday off so we slept in got ready and headed to Logan. We were a little early so we got to hang out with my dad for a bit. Then we met Mom, Lynz and Kenz at Chili's for a pre-birthday lunch. Saturday was my birthday so in the morning my in-laws and Adam and I went to breakfast at the motor loudge then we headed over to the craft fair where my mother in-law bought me the cutest little magnet board for our office I love it! Then we went back and I got my gift from Adam it is a digital picture frame. I have been wanting one forever I think I only mentioned it to him once and he remembered what a sweetheart! The rest of the day was pretty chill we went down to the boat then came back got cleaned up and headed to Cafe Sabor! Yummy! We were going to go to the rodeo but it was sold out so we just visited family down at the beach cabins then went to the fireworks on the boat and got to watch the lighted boat parade it was so fun. Sunday we had dinner with the Atwoods and my family got me an ipod I was so excited! Its so cute! It was the best birthday I could ask for! Happy 23 to me! Thanks everyone who wished me happy birthday and made it such a perfect day well really weekend. Oh on Sunday we also went on a trail before we left the lake and hiked around Limber Pine. TWO YEARS

Well on July 20th it was our two year anniversary. It was great we went up to bear lake and just hung out on the boat and played with the dog. It was a quick trip but very relaxing! I love anniversaries. It was a pretty chill on this year but it was the best I love Adam so much. We have definitly experianced the first year being the hardest even the second year is a tough one but we are making it through one day at a time and that is perfect for me! He is my best friend and we are working so hard to make a good life for us so when we have children (hopefully next year) we can be the best parent. I am so excited to have him in my life and have our own family. Happy two year I love you. Sorry about the lateness on the post.

Two Week-

I gave my two weeks at Davis Hospital. I (with Adam pushing me) decided it was time to move on. I really am enjoying my new job at the new Intermountain Syracuse Clinic. I just love everyone there. My boss has given me so much increase in my pay and is working to get me more hours she is the best. I have great hours great benefits and I can't complain about the work either. I not doing a ton of x-raying at this point but I am sure we will pick up and do more soon. I do lab as well which I was really worried about liking but I really do its great. (p.s I haven't drawn anyones blood yet but I am looking forward to it I am just nervous as all get out). Anyways I was so sad to give my notice but I think it was the best decision for the future. I have great news as well but I can't talk about it yet so when I can I will be sure to fill you all in. I really enjoyed everyone at Davis and will miss them all. So here is to new begginings! So long Davis!

DECISIONS

So I am such a stressor and have a big delma! Starting today I will work a total 36 days in a row (that I know of at this point it could be more come August). Some shifts are four hours, some eight and some like 13-15 or something like that. Well this is going to super difficult come August when school starts! I can't do that and do school full time WOW! I am so okay with working full time and school full time but I will be doing more than 40 hours a week plus no days off!!!!! I am so already freaking out I have never done that before and lets face it my job is not really a walk in the part it kicks my but somedays. Okay to explain I have got a new job at new clinic (IHC) in Syracuse (ps I am so excited about this). Okay and I also work at Davis Hospital. So at Syracuse I am hired as a Limited Practical Technician (even though my licence is Registered Tech which is better). So I took this job knowing I had a great opportunity to get full time and more pay at this point they are paying for my school and insurance but Davis has the pay! As my mother has said money isnt everything I know. So here is a list of my pros and cons between the two places because eventually (soon) I am going to have to choose.
Syracuse Pro:
Better Insurance
Paying for school
Smaller (less stress)
Status (meaning I am starting there so i get priorty)
Nice people (so it seems)
No operating room (I despise that place)
Close to home
Good hours with children
No call!!!
I have wanted a job at a clinic since the beggining of this adventure

Triple Congradulations

This past weekend my sister gradutated from High School, my other sister got baptized and my parents made it to their twenty fifth anniversary! We totally celebrated! It was a big bash! I just wanted to say congrats to all of them and I love you all you guys are great examples!!! Especially my parents who have had a tough times but always stick together its great to have two parents who love each other to be an example to ADam and I! Thanks! We love all of you. Graduation

So I am a little late but...better late than never right! So I just graduated from Weber State Universtiy with my Associates of Applied Science Degree (Radiology). I am so happy to be done. I know most people don't walk for their Associates but to me it was such an accomplishment to get the x-ray program out of the way so I did it and it felt great! My parents and Adam and my Grandparents were there which was nice! The three most important people in my whole life were there so that is all that mattered to me! My parents who have been pushing me a long for the last 4 years of college (I know sad I am just getting my associates haha oh well only one year for bachelors). And Adam for supporting me in whatever I decided to do! It was such a great feeling to accomplish it. Now I just have to pass my BOARD EXAM (tomorrow I might add). Yeah your wondering why I am blogging and not studying I dont know what else to study I am going crazy with nervousness. Wish me luck and here are some pictures from graduation.

Happy Birthday to the best husband ever! Adam's birthday was on April 26th he turned 26!! Wow! I have had the pleasue of knowing him for the past 3 years of his life and it has been the greatest! I love him more than anything! He is my best friend and I hope bear lake was a good birthday for him! Okay now onto the fun! We spent the weekend at the cabin and it was oaklies first time at the beach holy cow did she have a blast! The other dog in the pictures is Adam's parents Newfinland (not sure how that is spelled)who is about equivalent to an old man in dog years. Oaklie just constantly wanted to play with him and he was so patient! Haha! Enjoy We love her she is great and such a blast to watch.

There is going to be a couple post here I haven't updated with any of my pictures lately so there will be a lot of them.
First Adam loves to work in the yard (wierdo) so he decided that he wanted to put Oaklie in a better spot for all year long (she is killing our grass) so we got some pete gravel and we had a lot left so we made a nice sitting area where we wont get wet from the sprinklers!

Oaklies new home! We are really happy with it.

The new sitting it is not quiet dont yet but its lookin' good with a fire place and all!

This is our cute house! We love it. The ivy is much prettier in the summer so ignore its dead uglyness. We do however have incredibly green grass cause my husband is a grass natzi (I have no glue how to spell that one).

I had some pictures of my brothers homecoming party but I am in one and look horrible and my mom and dad are in one also and said if I posted it I was dead! Hehe so Ill be nice to my mommy. I haven't posted in awhile not much has been happening that is too exciting! I have just been well not really but suppose to be preparing for my State Boards for x-ray! Adam is just working hard at the business! I am way board sitting here at work and really really dreading this patient that is sitting here its a picc line which is a glorified IV basically in lamens (hmm how do you spell that?) terms for those who may not know. Well these things are easy but not with certain doctors and the doctor that is on today has no idea what he is doing!!!!! So I am really dreading even asking him to do it! He once had to ask a Tech what he was looking at on the ultrasound machine um hello I do x-rays and you are the doctor! I can kinda tell but no well enough to tell him and hope I am right DUH! I am desperatly hoping he talks the floor out of this madeness and we wait for Trent (the doctor the heavens sent down to our great hospital)! Hehe! Well wish me luck hopefully ill have more to blog about soon! Have a good weekend!

He's Back! (And Pictures of Oaklie)

My brother is back from North Carolina! He looks exactly the same other than he filled out and he is a big guy! He is just blulky! He looks good. We missed him a lot and he already go a job offer and he has been home for two days so that is good for him! I am proud of him! And so happy he is back! Wierd because we never go a long before until after he graduated and then he left so I am happy! My little seven year old (almost eight crazy) sister was totally wierded out by him while they were in North Caroline picking him up. She was all shy and stuff hehe funny. Cute little bugger.

Here are a few pictures of Oaklie in her little area dedicated to her lucky dog ahah. This last picture of Oaklie is outside our house she is sitting on the roof! We have a cellar type thing from way back when our house was new (like 100 years ago) so its not very tall and I was in the laundry room and I was talking to her and she jumped up to pay me a visit! It was totally cute!

I am officially done with my student hours! As of two o'clock today so exciting. I have done a total of 1500.5 hours of free labor at the hospital (Logan Regional and Davis Medical Center) From Fall of 2007 to Now! Wow time flew by. Not so much when I was actually in the midst of it all but no that it is over it did seem to go pretty fast. I still have school work I have to do, but no more free work! YIPPY! I know I am going to be more excited than anyone but I am just so proud of myself! I made it and let me tell ya the last like two months have been horrible! Anyways yeah me! I get to work and only get paid now its AWESOME!

26 HOURS! I have 26 hours till I am done with my free labor at the hospital YEAH! I am so so excited. Its getting really really hard to go and work but its only three days! At the end of the week (Sunday) I will have worked like 56 hours! WOW that's also included in normal paying work days too! It will all be worth it just to be done! Anyways that is just my next count day YAH!!!

YAH! I am so excited I only have eight days of clinicals left! I have to pass of two more exams and then I'll be done! Wednesday March 4 YIPPY! I am so happy it has been a long 18 months of hard work! I still have some school left but no more free labor! I am super excited about that! As is Adam!

All Alone

This weekend was a first for Oaklie and us. We went up to my parents house and my dad has strick rules about dogs inside. He is a little harsh but it is his house so we respect him! And we still love him even if he is a little nuts. :) So Oaklie has her first night sleeping and spending all day and night outside! She slept in the garage since it's freezing outside he isnt that mean haha. So when we went to church we tired her up so she wouldnt escape and my parents dont have stairs on their deck yet (another story) so here are a few pictures of her sulking (if thats how you spell it). My little sister (she is seven) is like in love with Oaklie she has these little webkin things and she has a litte yellow puppy dog and she went in a changed its name to Oaklie how freaking cute and all she wanted to do is take her for a walk! So we did and she about pulls her over but she loved every minute. Mackenzie (my sister) would always come ask me should I go check on her haha totally cute!! I love that little girl.

Bear Lake

I am a little late on posting this since it was a few weekends ago but oh well. We took oaklie on her first trip to Logan. We stopped and made a visit at my dad's house to get her first shot. Then we headed to the lake. She loved it! We had so much fun. P.S those moose were just right off the street and then the next morning they had pooped on the cabin driveway!!!! Crazy. So we got a Yellow Lab! She is 8 1/2 weeks old. We got her yesterday! We love her already. Its crazy how much a puppy reminds me of a baby. I have never had a baby but just knowing and seeing babies and stuff she is so much like one. She is so fun we gave her a big stuffed bear that Adam gave me last Valeckerntines Day she went to town. We are teaching the little stinker to chew her toys not my couch! I am so very worried she is going to eat my nice furniture. Which I love! She has been really good, pooed in the house once but what can you do. She is going to be an inside outside dog! We dont have anywhere to sleep right now so she sleeps in a cage thing next to our bed she is still so little so we dont want to kick her out! She misses her mommy! She has been spending time with Adam at work its been fun for him! Anyways we love our baby Oaklie! Enjoy the pics

9 WEEKS......

So for the last four semesters which is 12 months basically and 1491 hours of free labor I finally can say I have only 9 weeks to go. In 9 weeks I will be officially done working as an x-ray tech for free! What a great great feeling that is. I have worked hard (not so much at the school work part) but at the hospital learning the techniques and skills I need to be an x ray tech and I am finally 9 weeks from being done! Meaning graduation is this May for x ray and hopefully December or Next May at the latest for my BACHELORS DEGREE! Whoo! This semester of class work most definitly sucks its a lot of busy work! So I just keep telling myself 9 WEEKS!!!!!! Thank you for being a part of my excitment! Haha!

HAPPY 2009! So Adam and I had no plans as of about 5 o'clock New Years Eve. Adam made pretty good money that day in cash so we got a hotel that not. It was so much fun! We went to our normal hotel we go to on special occasions. We decided also to get cafe rio! So good! We were in line and this way nice guy gave us two FREE meals! What a great way to start of the New Year. On New Years Day we did lots of fun stuff, movie, bowling, and dinner and breakfast! So fun! And by the way the movie Marley and Me was great! We had an awesome New Years! Hope you all did too!

So next my dad works at this place called ifrogz! Its a bunch of stuff for your ipods. Well the sale customized head phones and we got a gift card there so we just got our head phones New Years Eve too! I tried to get a picture but it didnt work! I love them! I got a matching read case for my ipod too! So just go check out ifrogz.com and I did read and black and the black and white flower picture! They are priced really great and they come to you in two day! P.S They dont have a store its all on line! Have a good weekend everyone!

I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and remembered the true meaning. Before I go on I just want to give my condolances to the Jorgensen and Johnson family. I have know Erik and Jessy for a very very long time. I actually had a crush on Erik since kintergarten to eighth grade. :) What can I say he was a cute he just had this special personality that drew me in! We were good friends after I got over the crush! :)And Jessy he was such a sweet and caring guy! What great friends they were with eachother and anyone the came in contact with. I feel for Erik's wife and younger brother Gregory and Jessy's family. My love goes out to everyone impacted by this horrible tradegy.

Adam and I had a good Christmas, I had to work which wasn't super fun but I managed. We went and spent the night at my parents house it was so fun. I love spending time with family there is no better place. We had a tretourous drive home last night. I am so thankful for fourwheel drive! And my amazing husband that is a wonderful driver in the snow! He always says he is a professional I guess technically he is (he drove trucks for like three years). We had a small Christmas when it came to gifts but it was a great Christmas to remember how much we love each other and that the worldly things don't matter! I have a few random pictures from our holiday fun and parties but my camera is at home! So ill post them later. I hope everyone has a great New Year and enjoys their families because life is just to short to miss out the love of a family.

Its a little delayed with the Christmas Lights but I think my hubby did such a great job so here are some pictures of our house with its beautiful lights on it!

Next we well I decided that it would be fun to make gift for my family party (they exchange something small) so Adam and he great domestic skills made suckers and I put them together in the cute bags! They were definitly a hit! We were cheap so instead of using the foam stuff that you can poke stuff in we drank some pop we had at home and drilled holes in them and stuck the suckers in them! Again Adams idea. He is great so smart and creative! Well here are some pictures of our fun idea!

My mother in-law asked me to make some name tags for their Christmas party. The idea is to have everyone sit by non-family members. It's Adam's dads family and no one knows each other very well so she thought if we made people sit by someone they may not normally sit by we could get to know eachother (good idea) so hence the name tags. I worked on them for like 3 hours today. So here is the final project! I am proud of them. That may be a little vain but I don't normally do crafty things and this one turned out good so I am bragging (Laughting out loud)

So I am done with school well today and I enjoy reading (something I learned the last year or so). I decided I needed an up lifting book. And the best place to find those is Desseret Book! My mom gave me this great book called "Strangling Your Husband is Not an Option" I loved it this Merrillee Boyack is really funny she puts things in perspective and make you laugh about them. So adam is always telling me I need to worry less and why do you always feel guilty about the stupidest things. So this book is my answer to better myself as a women. So far its really really great. It talks about how us women are always judging ourselves to other women and comparing are abilities. It is very true and really sad that a lot of us are like that. Its already helping me feel better about the good things I do and not worrying that I am not doing some other good thing my neighboor is doing. If any one hast time to read it I definitly recommend it!! Ill keep letting you know if she has any other good insights. And let me just tell you that I just love President Hinckley! She has some great quotes from him he was such an amazing prophet. And all about have a fun journey.

CHRISTMAS TREE

Its a little late but we went and got our Christmas tree last weekend. It was so much fun. I have never gotten a real tree before so it was a first for me and I loved it. I was a little anal about getting the perfect tree but I soon figured out that there is no such thing and that is the beauty of a real tree. So here are some pictures there are quite a few haha...

So we saw this deer right outside the window of the cabin it was looking right at us! Deer are a little dumb but so beautiful!

I love wildlife we saw a MOOSE so fun! Adam is cutting down our first of four trees!

We got a hug tree it was awesome! Adam carrying it haha! And some other random pics.

Here is the tree in our house its pretty big for our little house. Adam lite the tree but it was really hard since its real and kinda floppy in the first place but I think it looks pretty good! We just need to decorate it! Well I love love Christmas so enjoy the month everyone!

Adam and I well mostly me decided to have my mom take some pictures of us to send out a christmas card and for an updated family photo even though our family is very little. So here are a few of the pics from that....

We also went and got our Christmas tree this weekend. I am at my mom's house on her computer so I can't upload the pictures from that but I will soon. We had a blast cutting down the trees and trying to find the perfect tree! Adam was in chain saw heaven!

I am a little stressed and worried so here is my venting slash worriedness....So I work at a hospital and sadly we are fairly slow. There are some rumors going around that they are going to possibly do lay off's in January SCARY! It makes me so sad and really nervous. There are just no jobs in the world. Everyone is having to cut back on their hours and I hardly get any hours in the first place so it really sucks! This last week I cut back about 6 hours in two days!!! Thats just not good at all. Other stupid part is that some people (I wont mention any names or positions)dont ever cut back on their hours! Whats up with that? Not fair if ya ask me. I feel that I am taking one for the team when I do that so that no one has to loose their job.

Hopefully if we are faithfull we will make it through this. I feel for everyone my parents and family included they are having a rough time now too with some issues going on with my dad and this guy trying to frame him and my dads in the construction business so thats really hard right now with housing. So pray for them my heart just aches because they are having to deal with this! My poor dad has lost like twenty pounds this summer! I cant say to much I dont want to get myself introuble.

FIRE and SUCKERS

It was a normal Monday night family night we decided to make cookies and have friends over for Prision Break and cookies. First I had made some rolls and they were quite done yet so I gave them like three more minutes and the tops were burnt and not just a little! So we turned the oven off and continued making the stuff for cookies. Well it was time to pre-heat the oven so we do so. I decided I need to start a load of laundry and while I was in the laundry room I smelled some smoke? Wierd yes very weird so I walk out to the kitchen and there it is smoke coming out of the top of the stove! NOT GOOD Adam said what the crap is wrong he opened the oven door and boom FIRE he was a little shocked for a second then the fire started to spread out the door and he firgured he better get the fire extinquisher or we better get out. Yes we have a fire extinquisher haha! It was great to have on hand. However the fire extinquisher makes a huge mess so we spent all day to day getting a new oven and clean all the little particles off everything. (not fun). Apparently there was smoke in the intersection because right after it happened our friends showed up! We were going to take a pic of the fire but decided we better just get it out! So here is the remains of one of the cookies!! And the messy kitchen while we were cleaning it. I also thought I would post my favorite room in the house I think its decorated the best. They are great pics our house is dark we dont have much lighting but enjoy. Oh and here is a picture of our new oven.

Next after cleaning all day Adam decided we were going to make suckers so here are some pics from that! They are peppermint and very strong smelling my nose is deffinitly clear! His mom makes suckers they are so good so we thought we would try some its pretty easy and fun! Adam likes to bake funny huh! Its cute!

We were so TIRED! It was fun though Adams pumpkin looked so good mine was going to be way cute but the letters were to close together. It was a fun night. Halloween was boring I had to work till late so we watched some Friends and went to bed, it was relaxing.

So I know its way inmature of me to love this show but I do. Its such a wholesome show with cute fun songs whats not to like. So I have been really excited for it to come out and I wanted to go with my seven year old sister Kenzie but I just dont know when I have time to get up there thats not when she is sleeping so Adam surprised me with tickets on Saturday. I got home and was a little nervous cause the house was dark and he wasn't there but I had just talked to him and he said he was home....I go in side rush to turn the light on do to my extreme free of the dark! There was a cute note on the counter that said how much he loved me and all this cute sweet stuff and then it said follow the clues.....so I had to change my scrubs first and there was clue then brush my teeth another clue and finally in my shoes was the tickets! We went to chilli's and had my favorite chips with enchilada soup and then popcorn at the movies! It was so much fun.

Thanks babe I love you so much you are always thinking of the sweetest things to do for me! You are definitly my better half!! Love ya! P.S I know you really really hated the movie but it was great that you went with me! It meant a lot to me.

This past week or maybe it was two weeks who knows we watched my brother and sister in-laws little girl and lets just say our house is so not baby proof. Kristin my sister in law was prettty nervous about letting her little 2 almost 3 year old run around our house but she did and we kept all four eyes on her (adams two and my two. So we colored and listen to the little one scream for a while and she finally went to sleep so Victoria decided to leave my sight for a second and she went in the kitchen well she diecided she was thirty and would get a drink! Yep there she is gettin it all by her self and made a big wet mess on the floor and all over her socks! Kids are just the best! Although we were glad when they went home we could go to sleep hehe but it was great I love kids here are a few other pics we took to keep here entertained isnt she the cutes. She is going to be my new buddy I hope since Kenzie (sister 7) is getting close to the not careing about me stage. So enjoy the pics....

So I am feeling a little negative that my hubby is at home and I am working on Sunday (which I do a lot and I dont love). So I thought I would do this cute survey I saw on a fellow bloggers blog! So here goes.

Where did you meet? We meet at a concert (a wierd one I might add) it was a blind date! It was Friday December 1st of 2006! I had a test the next morning and I needed to study I was working full time at the time so I did all my studying for this particular class on Friday night. Well I am so glad I decided to not study and get an 88 instead of a 100 so I could meet Adam!

How long did you date before you got married? Well we dated 2 months and 14 day before we got engaged and then 5 months later we were married so for a total of a little over 7 months. We were nervous about it and I think it made for a hard first year but we are getting to know eachother better and I am so glad I did it!

How long have you been married? 1 year and 3 months!

What is your favorite feature of his? I love his smile super soft lips and a be smile when he laughs and isnt aware anyone is looking at it! He also has really cute hands haha wierd I know but I love holding them!

What is your favorite quality of his? Adam is so genuine! He has a heart the size of a small country! If he can he will help anyone (he hates being forced to do it) but loves to help others and he is super sweet and can talk to anyone and doesnt have problems with people so easy to get a long with!

Does he have a nickname for you? Not really he calls me babe mostly or uses my name or hey and I normally answer haha!

What is his favorite color? It depends on what your talking about like cars would be white but other stuff it just depends on what type of thing it is.

What is his favorite food? Really anything that isnt a vegtable or even related to a vegtable type.

What is his favorite sport? You know he doesnt really like sports but if he had to watch something Id say football

When and Where was your first kiss? Well our fist kiss was on our first date and on his parents couch. We went from holding hands, to snuggling to kissing haha shame I know.

Does he have a hidden talent? hmm....he can bake really well and fix about anything! If I think its a lost cause and there is no way to fix it he usually jimmy rigs something and it its fixed

My New Hair......

I cut about 10 off the girl said it was fairly close to that because I had enough to donate to locks of love so that was exciting and made it all the more worth it!! HAIR!!

So I have had the same boring old hair cut since like sophtmore year (i think thats how you spell it) anyways and I basically look the same no change since high school. I have been all talk and no action when it comes to my hair and cutting it! Well I decided I am getting an a line hair cute a couple inches below my chin (thats what the websites tell me works with my fat face haha) and a deap bang so thats what I am going with. I talked to a girl I work with she was a hair stylest for 25 years and she agreed she said it be way cute, SASSY which we all know i like to be so why not match my personality with my hair. I am hoping it will be easy to manage and not get in my way at work (seriously it falls in the patients face and in my eyes and drives me nuts) and I wont have to wear my hair in a pony all the time however I will still need it long enough for some type of pony ill die if I cant have my pony tail sundays!!! HAHA Any ways ill post pictures after I get it done but only if it looks good if its ugly ill hide in a closet for a year till my hair grows (it literally takes that long or longer) I am super nervous so pray for it to look good ill cry if its ugly very vein I know but its something you have to look at EVERYDAY! Wish me luck its going to be a big change I am hoping it will be fun for me though and Adam will like it!
